Easiest way to understand about Daylight Saving mostly for people come from not even have a clue about it (which is me last year (^_^) ) in a year, we have begin and end of daylight saving. Daylight saving start last year on September (Sunday) and ended last night Sunday 3rd April 2011 (my birthday).
When daylight saving starts, we lose 1 hour which mean the clock go forward 1 hour and when daylight saving ended the clock went back 1 hour. Based on New Zealand Daylight Time Order 2007, Daylight saving will start on April every year and start again on September.
I will have one hour early birthday on 2016 again same as last night. Cool!!! Thanks for my hubby for giving me the new idea. Now I understand what is meant by Daylight Saving.
p.s: When we start daylight saving, the hours different between New Zealand and Malaysia (my country) is 5 hours and now is 4 hours....Hope my brother wake up on the right time tomorrow...hehehe. xoxo
